Brief Information

Donna joined HRSD (formerly RRRT) in 2019 as the Project officer for the Pacific People’s Advancing Change (PPAC) Program in the Solomon Islands. Before joining HRSD, Donna has worked with the Women’s Rights Action Movement (WRAM) as Research and Policy Officer.  Her work there focused on research, advocacy, and capacity-building, covering a range of key rights issues including EVAW, the introduction of TSM for women in parliament, lobbying for CEDAW implementation, and supporting the Young Women’s Mentoring Programme. Prior to this, she was a Project Officer with Solomon Islands Development Trust (SIDT) where her work focused on delivering community training in the context of development projects. Donna holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Anthropology and Sociology and minor in Social Works from the University of Papua New Guinea.
