Alfereti Vamarasi is the Finance Team Leader responsible for the provision of financial services in the HRSD Division’s programmes and projects. He leads the shared services vision in the division which promotes a new way of working through collaboration with SPC central finance. This includes financial planning, monitoring and donor reporting, project and programme support, compliance and risk management. 

Prior to joining SPC, Alfereti was the Finance and Corporate Services Manager at Oceania Customs Organisation Secretariat. He is a full member of the Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants and had held finance lead roles working in the international telecommunications space and port operations and logistics based in Fiji and the Cook Islands. Alfereti has a strong accounting background with a Bachelor’s Degree focused on Accounting and Finance and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the South Pacific.
