Emele Vakarau is a Monitoring and Evaluation Data Analyst at the Human Rights and Social Development (HRSD) Division in Fiji, with responsibility for the data collection, management including collation, entry/storage, verification and quality assurance for HRSD reporting purposes.

Immediately prior to joining the Human Rights and Social Development (HRSD) Division in May 2023, Emele was the Training Support Consultant with the Pacific Resilience Project (PREP) with the Geoscience Division within SPC.   She has more than 10 year’s experience working with Disaster Resilience and Disaster Management related training providing support within the pacific region.  Throughout the years she has been responsible for training data management for the Disaster Community Resilience Programme (DCRP) in the GEM Division.
