Eroni Wavu joined the PWL at SPC team as a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer at HRSD.  Eroni is an Indigenous Pacific Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) practitioner dedicated to fostering community development through effective, context-specific, and culturally appropriate MEL practices. Eroni's passion centers on driving positive, meaningful change for resilience in areas such as Good Governance, Wellbeing, Economic Empowerment, Conservation & Preservation of Natural Resources, Cultural Reutilization and Traditional Leadership. As a staunch advocate for locally led MEL, Eroni’s skills and experience lies in strengthening MEL Systems, institutionalizing MEL culture, program design, strategic planning and building partner and network relationships. Notably, Eroni is a member of the MEL Industry Advisory committee that developed the recently endorsed Pacific Diploma in MEL and the Co-founder of the emerging Fiji MEL Community of Practice.
