Jovesa provides technical advice, assistance and capacity building under the HRSD work programme with a focus on gender and social inclusion (GESI) statistics and will contribute to the broader human rights statistics needs of HRSD. 

He worked for the Fiji Bureau of Statistics as a Statistician, before joining the Embassy of Japan, Suva as a Grant Aid Coordinator. He then joined the Asia Foundation as a Programme Officer, before taking up the role of Regional Development Officer with the British High Commission, Suva prior to joining SPC.
