
Loriza is a Communications Officer within HRSD supporting PROJECT Governance, Women in Leadership Programme and Social Citizenship Education. Her role is pivotal, offering strategic communications and visual support to these programmes. At the core of her responsibilities lies the imperative task of embedding the SPC’s People Centred Approach into the fabric of these projects through compelling visual and written materials. With an extensive background spanning over 16 years, Loriza is a seasoned creative communicator adept at leveraging graphic design and writing to deliver resonant messaging.
Prior to joining SPC, she honed her skills at The University of the South Pacific, where she served for 7 years as a Graphic Designer and Marketing & Events Coordinator across its 12 member countries. Notable achievements include spearheading the creation of the University Prospectus and orchestrating successful events like the USP Open Day. Loriza's tenure as a consultant with the HRSD team further underscores her commitment and contribution to diverse projects. Her mandate involves pioneering innovative communication strategies, employing mediums such as videos and static designs to champion the objectives of each initiative.
