Luisa Mavoa is the programme assistant with the Culture for Development team. Her role is to provide financial and administrative support for all Culture for development activities, including the Festival of Pacific Arts and Culture. She is the point of contact for the culture programme.

Luisa started with SPC in March 2011 with the Human Development Programme as part time staff before moving into a full-time position in 2013 under the Culture Programme assisting in the management, implementation and reporting of a EU funded project and administrative support to the Social Development Division until 2019.
