FSM Country Focal Officer, EVAW

Lululeen is the HRSD Country Focal Officer for the Federated States of Micronesia, focusing on the Elimination of violence against women and girls, with the Pacific Women Lead at SPC programme.  She provides advice, technical assistance and capacity building to national ministries, state institutions, civil society, the private sector, and other national and regional stakeholders, as well as other SPC divisions and programmes, in regard to interventions and activities that cater or contribute to the elimination of violence against women and girls.  She provides assistance to the gender equity/equality and empowerment space to empower women and girls in today's society and advocate for human rights and social development.  

She has been working in the gender space for more than 10 years. She started gender development work with Pohnpei State Division of Social Services under the Department of Health & Social Services as the Women Programme Development Officer following community work empowering and advocating on gender equality. She also helped the International Organization for Migration launch their Inspiring Women’s Advancement Through Collective Actions project before joining HRSD/SPC in October 2022.
