Brief Information

Nilesh is a development practitioner, educator, theologian and poet with a passion for serving people. With graduate and post-graduate qualifications in science, education, environment and theology from universities in Australia, Fiji and USA, he has worked in academic, advisory, educator and development program specialist roles at the University of the South Pacific, the Fiji Human Rights Commission, Greenpeace Australia Pacific, AusAID and Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. A leader in various spheres, Nilesh is a regular contributor to local and international media and literature on various issues including environment, ending violence against women, faith and social justice. Nilesh is a Fijian National, and has represented Fiji, Australia and the organisations he has worked for in numerous high profile fora.
