Brief Information

From Lau of the Fiji Islands group, Tupou had professionally worked for more than 30 years mainly in the areas of gender and women’s empowerment, self-determination, human rights and social development in Fiji and the Pacific. Her experience covers working in women and advocacy civil society, government, faith-based and inter-governmental organisations’ led initiatives in rural, remote including urban settings that address gender and women’s issues, disarmament, self-determination, policy engagement, regionalism, human rights and social development. Tupou is the Officer (Gender and Social Inclusion), a Pohnpei (Federated States of Micronesia) based position in the SPC Micronesia Regional Office.
