Usaisuva Laitiasa is the Procurement and Grants Officer at OMD working with the HRSD Division. 

He started his career in the Procurement field being employed at the Fiji Procurement Office (FPO) – Government of Fiji for five years as a Procurement Officer and later appointed as Senior Procurement Officer. He joined Water Authority of Fiji in October 2017 as a Team Leader Procurement looking after the overall operation of the Procurement of WAF (Tenders, Inventory, Purchasing, Logistics and Stores). He later joined the University of the South Pacific in 2020 as Deputy Procurement Manager managing the operation of the procurement team before he joined SPC in Jan-2024.

With more than 10 years’ experience in the Procurement field, he has experience in documentation, reporting, calling of tenders, drafting, analysing and evaluation of tender and RFQ’s, attending to queries from vendors, regulatory compliance, and contract management to name a few.
