Vika Akau'ola is the HRSD Country Focal Officer for Tonga. She supports the Kingdom of Tonga government through relevant ministries to meet its national, regional, and international Human Rights, Gender Equality, Social Inclusion and Culture for Development commitments through the provision of advisory services, technical assistance, networking, coordination, and capacity-building.

She brings in a wealth of experience in the human rights, gender equality and social inclusion space. She previously worked in both government departments and CSO/ NGO organisations including the Family Protection Legal Aid Centre (FPLAC), Women’s and Children’s Crisis Centre (WCCC), and Balance of Power.
